Â鶹ɫÇéƬ Nursing students are obtaining extremely valuable clinical experience this semester assisting the Galveston County Health Department and UTMB Health in administering COVID-19 vaccinations at the county’s drive-through mass vaccination clinic coordinated by the Galveston County Office of Emergency Management and the Office of County Judge Mark Henry at Walter Hall Park in League City.
On Feb. 3, students in Associate Degree Nursing Instructor and Simulation Lab Coordinator Joan Moss, RN, MSN, CHSE’s volunteered at the clinic.
On Feb. 5, students in Jeff Eubank, RN, MSN’s ADN volunteered.
The students will continue to volunteer throughout the semester.
