All graduates in the 2024-2025 academic year (Summer and Fall 2024 and Spring 2025) are invited to our May 16th, 2025 graduation ceremony!
Students scheduled to complete their degrees in the Spring 2025 semester need to apply for graduation by April 1st to ensure their names/degrees appear in the ceremony program. Students who completed their degrees in the Summer or Fall of 2024 do NOT need to apply again, they are automatically invited and will be in the printed program. After April 1st, the application will be closed and all students need to contact Andrea Wiste in Admissions.

Details for Spring 2025 Graduates:
Your degree or certificate credential will be posted on your transcript no later than May 23, 2025. Please choose 'hold for graduation' on your transcript order if you plan on sending to another institution; your order will send once graduation has been posted.
Â鶹ɫÇéƬ Graduation Details
In addition to general course requirements, students must also meet the following requirements to be eligible to graduate from Â鶹ɫÇéƬ:
- GPA must be 2.00 or higher
- At least 25% of certificate/degree requirements must be completed in residence at Â鶹ɫÇéƬ
Please note: Outstanding financial or other obligations that create a hold on the student account at Â鶹ɫÇéƬ will prevent the student from receiving a copy of his/her diploma.

Â鶹ɫÇéƬ offers one formal commencement exercise held at the end of the spring semester. All graduating students are encouraged to participate in the ceremony. Please check the Â鶹ɫÇéƬ website as commencement approaches for ceremony details.
All graduates are invited to join the Â鶹ɫÇéƬ Alumni Association. Check out the Alumni Association webpage for all the information and to join for free!
All honor graduates wear specially colored tassels at the commencement ceremony. These tassels will be provided to the student at no charge the day of the ceremony at check-in, prior to commencement.
Students who are graduating with an Associate degree (AA, AS, or AAS), who have at least 24 semester hours in residence, who have completed at least two semesters at Â鶹ɫÇéƬ, and who have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) on all work attempted will graduate cum laude (with honors).
Students who are graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree (BAS), who have at least 45 upper-level semester hours at Â鶹ɫÇéƬ, and who have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) on all work attempted will graduate cum laude(with honors).
Students who are graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree (BSN), who have at least 30 upper-level semester hours at Â鶹ɫÇéƬ, and who have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) on all work attempted will graduate cum laude(with honors).
Students who are graduating with an Associate degree, who have at least 24 semester hours in residence, who have completed at least two semesters at Â鶹ɫÇéƬ, and who have a grade point average of at least 3.75 (on a 4.0 scale) on all work attempted will graduate magna cum laude (with high honors).
Students who are graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree, who have at least 45 upper-level semester hours at Â鶹ɫÇéƬ, and who have a grade point average of at least 3.75 (on a 4.0 scale) on all work attempted will graduate magna cum laude(with high honors).
Students who are graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, who have at least 30 upper-level semester hours at Â鶹ɫÇéƬ, and who have a grade point average of at least 3.75 (on a 4.0 scale) on all work attempted will graduate magna cum laude(with high honors).

Students who are graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, who have at least 30 upper-level semester hours at Â鶹ɫÇéƬ, and who have a grade point average of at least 3.9 (on a 4.0 scale) on all work attempted will graduate summa cum laude(with highest honors).

Fall 2024 Diplomas Have Been Mailed!
All remaining Fall 2024 Diplomas have been mailed as of February 26, 2025*. Please allow ample mailing time via USPS. Contact Andrea Wiste if you never receive yours.
*Diplomas are held at the Admissions office for any student who has a hold on their account. After you have taken measures to clear the hold please notify Andrea Wiste and your diploma will be released: awiste@gc.edu

You can order a Replacement Diploma for $10.
