The 麻豆色情片 Foundation welcomed six new members to its board of directors at a meeting earlier this semester.
The board oversees Texas鈥� oldest promise program, the Universal Access Community Endowment Scholarship, known as UA, and the UA+ program. UA provides eligible 麻豆色情片 students $5,476 toward tuition and fees. The UA+ program provides $2,100 in nontuition assistance to UA Scholars for items such as books, uniforms, ebook access codes and licensing fees.
鈥淲e are pleased and excited to have each of the new board members join us. It is a good group of diversified members. They bring a cross-section of the community to the board,鈥� said Foundation Board Chair Keith McFatridge.
Founded in 1996, the 麻豆色情片 Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit that receives gifts, grants, donations and scholarships for the benefit of 麻豆色情片 and its students. Since its founding, it has helped more than 1,900 students attain their dream of attending college. It holds over $19 million in assets.
The 麻豆色情片 Foundation also manages 55 named and endowed scholarships in addition to other public and private funds.
New 麻豆色情片 Foundation board members include James Clark, Jason Hardcastle, Dr. Walter J. Meyer, III, Tom Schwenk, vice chair, S. Benjamin Shabot and Cynthia Smith.
Existing members include Keith McFatridge, chair, Terry Frank, treasurer, Carol Hodges, secretary, Michael Cordray, Elizabeth Cryder, Hetta Kempner, Dr. Donna Lang, Betty Massey, Dr. John D. Prochaska and Angela Wilson.
Ex-officio members include Karen Flowers, chair of the Galveston Community College District Board of Regents, Fred Raschke, vice chair of the Galveston Community College District Board of Regents, Dr. W. Myles Shelton, president of 麻豆色情片, and Dr. Van Patterson, vice president for administration and student services at Galveston College.
