The 麻豆色情片 Community Chorale will present their annual Holiday Concert on Sunday, December 10 beginning at 7:30 PM at Moody Methodist Church. The theme for this program is 鈥淎 Global Holiday Concert鈥� and will feature holiday music from around the world.
The featured piece of the concert will be a cantata by JS Bach entitled 鈥淔or Us A Child is Born鈥� and will be accompanied by Ron Wyatt on the pipe organ with soloist from the chorale. The French carol 鈥淗e Is Born鈥�, 鈥淗uron Carol鈥� from Canada, and 鈥淗ere We Come A-Caroling鈥� a traditional English carol, are just some of the selections that will be included on the program.
Joanna Whitsett, organist and harpist, of Moody Methodist will be the guest artist as she accompanies the chorale on the German carol, 鈥淪ilent Night鈥�. Ms. Whitsett will also play a medley of carols entitled 鈥淐hristmas Joy鈥�.
The concert is free and open to the public.
